After growing up in Kwa-Zulu Natal known for its thick, green and luscious vegetation, I'm always blown away by the arid Karoo landscape. Some of these photos were taken straight after one of the very few heavy rainstorms this area receives annually. The vegetation seemed radiant in the evening light after receiving much needed water
